Watts-Chapel

The entrance door of the Watts Chapel in Guildford, Surrey. The Chapel was designed and built by Mary Watts in the early 20th century with the help of local villagers who made the tiles from local clay. It is undoubtedly one of the Arts and Crafts masterpieces of Britain. The closer you get the more spectacular the detail becomes.
